EmpatKali

EmpatKali was a financial technology company based in Indonesia that provided a "Buy Now, Pay Later" (BNPL) payment solution. Launched to cater to Indonesia's growing e-commerce market, its service allowed consumers to purchase goods and services from partner merchants and pay for them over four equal, interest-free installments. In August 2020, the company was acquired by Australian BNPL giant Afterpay as part of its expansion into Southeast Asia. However, Afterpay later decided to exit the Indonesian market, and consequently, EmpatKali ceased all operations.
