EFInA

Established in late 2007, Enhancing Financial Innovation & Access (EFInA) is a leading financial sector development organization in Nigeria. Its mission is to make the country's financial systems work better for low-income individuals and households. Funded by the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, EFInA achieves its goals through a combination of deep research to understand the market, an Innovation Fund that provides grants to financial service providers, advocacy for pro-poor financial policies, and capacity building for stakeholders.
