Dash Core Group

Dash Core Group (DCG) was the core entity responsible for the development, promotion, and maintenance of the Dash (Digital Cash) cryptocurrency protocol and its ecosystem. Originally established to provide consistent direction and execution, DCG was funded by the Dash Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) through its unique treasury and governance system. The group focused on creating user-friendly, scalable, and instant payment solutions using blockchain technology. In early 2023, in a move to further decentralize the project, the Dash Core Group was dissolved, and its responsibilities were transitioned to be managed directly by the Dash DAO and its community-funded proposal system.
