CrowdForce

Founded in 2018, CrowdForce was a financial technology company dedicated to driving financial inclusion in Nigeria and across Africa. Its core mission was to empower the unbanked and underbanked populations by providing access to digital financial services through a vast network of local merchants and agents. The company's flagship product, PayForce, equipped these agents with a mobile POS (mPOS) terminal and a platform to offer services like cash withdrawals, deposits, bill payments, and fund transfers. In November 2023, CrowdForce was acquired by the cross-border payments company Chipper Cash, with the goal of integrating CrowdForce's extensive agent network and expertise to expand Chipper Cash's service offerings in Nigeria.
