Confidi Centro Nord Soc. Coop. is a supervised financial intermediary registered with the Bank of Italy, born from the merger of several cooperative consortia. Its mission is to support the economic development of its member companies, primarily SMEs, by facilitating their access to bank financing. It operates by issuing collective credit guarantees, which reduce the risk for lending institutions and thereby improve the terms and availability of credit for businesses in its operating regions. As a cooperative society, it is owned by its member enterprises and operates on a principle of mutuality.
