Community Mutual Group

Community Mutual Group (CMG) was a financial mutual that served communities in the New England and Hunter regions of New South Wales, Australia. It was formed through the earlier merger of Hunter Mutual Group and Orana Credit Union. As a member-owned institution, its mission was to provide competitive financial products and services while reinvesting profits back into the community and for the benefit of its members. In 2016, Community Mutual Group merged with New England Credit Union (NECU) to create a larger, more robust mutual entity known as Regional Australia Bank, which continues the member-owned ethos and community focus.
