Cois Sionna Credit Union Ltd is a local, community-focused financial institution that operates on a not-for-profit basis, existing solely to serve its members rather than generating profits for shareholders. The credit union was formed in 2015 from the merger of Adare, Askeaton, Kildimo, and Shanagolden Credit Unions, and it expanded in 2021 by welcoming members from Glin and Tarbert Credit Unions. Its mission is to offer accessible and fair financial services to individuals living, working, or studying within its designated common bond area.
