Coinsecure

Founded in 2014 by Mohit Kalra and Benson Samuel, Coinsecure was a Delhi-based cryptocurrency platform that aimed to provide a secure and reliable environment for Indian users to buy, sell, and trade Bitcoin. It was one of India's prominent early players in the crypto space. The company's operations came to an abrupt halt in April 2018 after it reported the theft of approximately 438 BTC (worth around $3.3 million at the time). The company was unable to recover from the loss and subsequent legal challenges from its users, leading to its eventual closure.
