Founded in 2014, Coins.ph is a financial services platform that enables anyone, including those without a bank account, to easily access financial services directly from their phone. The company's mission is to increase financial inclusion across Southeast Asia. Coins.ph is regulated by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) and is one of the first platforms in the Philippines to be licensed as a Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP). Its core services include a digital wallet, cryptocurrency trading, bill payments, mobile top-ups, and remittances. In 2022, former Gojek CFO Wei Zhou acquired a majority stake in the company.
