Founded in 2018, CoinSmart is a Canadian-based cryptocurrency trading platform with a mission to make digital currencies accessible to everyone. The company prides itself on security, user-friendly features for both beginners and advanced traders, and regulatory compliance, being one of the first Canadian crypto platforms to be registered as a Restricted Dealer with the Ontario Securities Commission and other provincial regulators. In 2022, CoinSmart was acquired by fellow Canadian crypto company Coinsquare, but continues to operate under its own brand.
