Coin Cloud Brasil operated as the Brazilian subsidiary of the US-based company, Coin Cloud. It specialized in deploying and managing a network of two-way cryptocurrency ATMs, which allowed users to instantly buy and sell various digital currencies, such as Bitcoin and Ethereum, using Brazilian Reais (BRL). The company's mission was to make cryptocurrency transactions simple and accessible to the general public through a physical, cash-based interface. However, following the Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing of its parent company in the United States in February 2023, all Brazilian operations were shut down, and the machines became non-functional.
