Co-op Co-Creation Councils

The Co-op Co-Creation Councils are a fundamental component of The Co-operative Group's member democracy and governance structure. They are not a separate commercial entity but rather a mechanism for involving the Co-op's members directly in business decisions. Established to ensure the voice of members is embedded in the company's operations, the councils bring together elected members to work alongside Co-op leaders on key projects. Their goal is to co-create and co-design solutions, policies, and products that reflect the values and needs of the membership, impacting all areas of the Co-op's business, from food retail to funeral care and legal services.
