Chicago Community Loan Fund

Founded in 1991, the Chicago Community Loan Fund (CCLF) is a U.S. Treasury-certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) that provides capital to build vibrant and equitable communities in metropolitan Chicago. CCLF's mission is to act as a social-impact lender by providing low-cost, flexible financing for vital community development projects and businesses, including affordable housing, community facilities, commercial real estate, and social enterprises. By pooling capital from socially-responsible investors such as banks, foundations, and individuals, CCLF directs these funds to under-resourced neighborhoods, fostering economic opportunity and improving the quality of life for residents.
