Founded in 1967 as ICDC Investment Company and listed on the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) since 1969, Centum Investment Company Plc is East Africa's premier investment firm. The company rebranded to Centum in 2008. Its mission is to create tangible wealth by providing a channel for investors to access and build extraordinary enterprises in Africa. Centum operates across three main business units: Private Equity, where it holds stakes in various companies; Real Estate, developing large-scale and mixed-use properties; and Marketable Securities, managing a portfolio of publicly traded stocks and fixed-income instruments.
