The company's mission is to provide a unique and meaningful tribute for families by launching a symbolic portion of a loved one's cremated remains into Earth orbit, to the lunar surface, or into deep space. The first-ever memorial spaceflight, the Founders Flight, launched in 1997 carrying the remains of 24 individuals, including Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry and 60s icon Timothy Leary.
