CDFI Friendly America

CDFI Friendly America is a national non-profit organization dedicated to fostering collaboration between communities and Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) to channel more capital and development services into under-resourced areas. The organization does not lend money directly but instead works with local leaders to establish a "CDFI Friendly" ecosystem. This involves creating a local, CDFI-facing financing entity and developing a pipeline of bankable projects, thereby making it easier and more efficient for CDFIs to invest in these communities and support local economic growth.
