Catalyst Fund is a pre-seed VC fund and accelerator that supports early-stage technology companies focused on building solutions for underserved communities in emerging markets, with a primary focus on Africa. Managed by BFA Global, the fund provides startups with both capital and expert-led, hands-on venture-building support. Its mission is to advance financial inclusion and climate resilience by investing in and nurturing innovative companies that improve the livelihoods of individuals and small businesses. The fund is backed by a consortium of investors and development agencies, including FSD Africa.
