Cardtronics Australasia operates one of the largest independent ATM networks in the region, offering comprehensive ATM management services. Their business model focuses on partnering with financial institutions to manage their ATM fleets and with retailers (such as supermarkets, convenience stores, and service stations) to provide in-store cash access for customers. In June 2021, the global Cardtronics company was acquired by NCR Corporation. Subsequently, in October 2023, NCR separated into two companies, with the ATM-focused business, including Cardtronics, rebranding as NCR Atleos.
