Cardano

The Cardano Foundation is an independent, Swiss-based non-profit organization tasked with overseeing and supervising the advancement of Cardano and its ecosystem. Its core mission is to standardize, protect, and promote the Cardano Protocol technology. The Foundation works to drive adoption and partnerships, shape blockchain governance and commercial standards, and ensure the accountability of stakeholders. It is one of the three founding entities of the Cardano project, alongside the engineering company IOG (Input Output Global) and the commercial arm Emurgo.
