Carbon

Founded in 2012 as OneFi, the company first launched as a mobile application called Paylater, which provided short-term loans. In 2019, it rebranded to Carbon and acquired a microfinance banking license from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). Carbon has since expanded its offerings to become an all-in-one financial services platform, providing loans, investment opportunities, fund transfers, bill payments, and debit cards to its customers, aiming to enhance financial access and inclusion across Africa.
