Founded in 1995, CapitalStream specialized in developing and providing a comprehensive software platform for the commercial lending process. Its flagship product was designed to help banks and financial institutions automate and streamline loan origination, underwriting, credit analysis, decisioning, and portfolio management. The company's mission was to help lenders increase operational efficiency, improve credit quality, and ensure regulatory compliance. In 2008, CapitalStream was acquired by HCL Technologies, a global IT services company, to bolster HCL's portfolio of offerings for the financial services industry. The CapitalStream platform and its team were subsequently integrated into HCL's operations.
