Cannabis Capital Growth PLC was incorporated in 2018 as an investment vehicle and was admitted to the Aquis Stock Exchange (AQSE) Growth Market in London. Its stated business strategy was to identify and acquire a compelling investment or acquisition opportunity in the burgeoning legal cannabis industry, with a focus on businesses related to CBD, wellness, and medical cannabis. After evaluating several opportunities, the company completed a reverse takeover (RTO) of Yooma Corp., a Canadian-based wellness products company, in early 2021 and was subsequently delisted from AQSE and rebranded as Yooma Wellness Inc., which then listed on the Canadian Securities Exchange (CSE) and later the AQSE.
