BUSINESS CORRESPONDENT FEDERATION OF INDIA

Business Correspondent Federation of India (BCFI) is a not-for-profit organization, incorporated under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013, with the primary mission of supporting India's financial inclusion initiatives. It functions as a Self-Regulatory Organisation (SRO) for Business Correspondents (BCs), who act as intermediaries for banks to provide financial services in remote and underbanked areas. BCFI focuses on creating a robust and trusted agent network by establishing standards, providing training, and advocating on behalf of its members with regulators like the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and the government.
