BTC Direct

Founded in 2013 in Nijmegen, The Netherlands, BTC Direct established itself as a prominent cryptocurrency broker with a mission to make digital currencies accessible and understandable for everyone. The platform allowed users to easily buy, sell, and store various cryptocurrencies using fiat currencies like the Euro. In 2023, BTC Direct was acquired by and merged with Coinmerce B.V., another Dutch crypto platform. The combined entity continues to operate under the Coinmerce brand, which is officially registered as a crypto service provider with De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB), the central bank of the Netherlands.
