Broodfonds Deegelijk

Broodfonds Deegelijk is an association founded in 2011 that functions as a mutual support network for self-employed entrepreneurs. Members set aside a monthly amount into their own individual 'broodfonds' account. If a member becomes unable to work due to illness, they receive small, tax-free donations from all other members of the group for a maximum period of two years. The model is based on solidarity and trust, operating as a non-commercial, community-based alternative to traditional disability insurance, and is limited to a maximum of 50 members.
