Originally founded in 1946 as the Broward County Teachers' Credit Union, BrightStar Credit Union has grown to become one of the largest credit unions in South Florida. As a not-for-profit financial institution, its profits are returned to its members in the form of lower loan rates, higher savings rates, and fewer fees.
