Brazos Capital Management LP

Founded in 1999 as a spin-off from the Dallas-based investment firm Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst, Brazos Capital Management, L.P. was a private equity firm that specialized in investments in middle-market companies. The firm managed several funds, raising over $1.4 billion in capital commitments throughout its history. Its investment strategy focused on partnering with management teams to acquire and grow businesses across various sectors, including consumer products, commercial and industrial products/services, and healthcare. In 2014, the firm announced it would not raise a new fund and would wind down its operations, eventually terminating its SEC registration in 2015.
