BORA is a blockchain-based platform designed to support and distribute digital content, primarily focusing on the gaming and entertainment sectors. Initially developed by Way2bit, the project was acquired and is now led by METABORA, a subsidiary of the South Korean gaming giant Kakao Games. The ecosystem operates on its own blockchain, which aims to provide high transaction speeds and low fees suitable for dApps. The governance of the platform, including key decisions on network policies and funding, is managed by the Bora DAO, where holders of the BORA token can participate in voting. The project's mission is to create a transparent and scalable ecosystem for developers and users to interact with blockchain-powered games and entertainment services.
