Bonobo

Founded in 2007 by Andy Dunn and Brian Spaly, Bonobos started as an e-commerce-first brand with a mission to create better-fitting men's pants. The company grew rapidly by pioneering a digitally-native, direct-to-consumer model, later complemented by physical "Guideshops" where customers can try on clothes before ordering them online. Bonobos was acquired by Walmart in 2017 for $310 million. In 2023, the brand was acquired from Walmart by a joint venture between fashion retailer Express, Inc. and brand management firm WHP Global.
