Bolsas y Mercados Españoles

Bolsas y Mercados Españoles (BME) is the company that manages the Spanish stock exchanges and financial markets. Established in 2002, it integrates the operations of Spain's four stock exchanges (Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao, and Valencia), the derivatives market (MEFF), the fixed-income market (AIAF), and the clearing and settlement house (Iberclear). BME provides a full suite of services including listing, trading, clearing, settlement, market data dissemination, and technology solutions to a global client base. In June 2020, BME became part of the Swiss financial infrastructure group SIX, enhancing its position within the European financial landscape.
