Established in 1990, the Bolsa de Valores de Panamá, S.A. (BVP) is a private entity dedicated to the development and promotion of Panama's capital market. It provides a transparent and efficient environment for the trading of stocks, corporate bonds, and government securities, facilitating capital formation for businesses and offering investment opportunities to the public. As a Self-Regulatory Organization (SRO) supervised by the Superintendencia del Mercado de Valores de Panamá, BVP works to ensure market integrity, investor protection, and the continuous modernization of its trading and settlement infrastructure.
