BLOCKCLOUD was launched as a project to build a next-generation internet protocol architecture based on blockchain technology. Its core concept, Service-Centric Networking (SCN), aimed to improve connectivity, mobility, security, and scalability. The project, operated by the Block-Cloud Foundation, raised funds through an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) in 2018 for its native token, BLOC. Despite initial partnerships and technical papers, the project appears to have become dormant, with no public development updates or community engagement since 2020.
