Blispay was a Baltimore-based financial technology company founded in 2014. It offered a consumer financing product in the form of the Blispay Visa® card, which provided promotional financing (e.g., 6 months no payments, no interest on purchases over $199) and 2% cash back on all purchases. The service was designed to be used both online and in-store, providing an alternative to traditional store credit cards for small and medium-sized businesses and their customers. The company ceased all operations in March 2019, citing challenges with the business's economics.
