Founded in 2007, the Bundesvereinigung Kreditankauf und Servicing e.V. (BKS) is the federal association for companies involved in purchasing and servicing loan portfolios in Germany. Its primary mission is to represent the economic and political interests of its members, which include credit institutions, financial service providers, and law firms. BKS acts as a central point of contact for policymakers, regulators, and the public, promoting professional standards, transparency, and the development of the secondary market for non-performing loans (NPLs) and performing loans.
