The company developed a multifaceted platform that included a cryptocurrency spot market, plans for regulated derivatives, and state-of-the-art data centers for cryptocurrency mining. Despite raising significant capital and building out an 84,000-square-foot facility, the company faced financial difficulties, ultimately filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in late 2019.
