BCASH™

BCASH™ was a significant player in the Brazilian e-commerce market, operating as an online payment gateway and intermediary. It provided solutions for merchants and consumers, including credit card processing, bank slips ("boleto bancário"), and online transfers. Founded as "Buscapé Pagamento Digital," it was rebranded to BCASH™ after being acquired by the South African media group Naspers (via its PayU division). In 2016, PagSeguro (now PagBank), a leading Brazilian FinTech company, acquired BCASH™, eventually absorbing its operations and customer base, leading to the discontinuation of the BCASH™ brand.
