BBVA USA

Originally operating as Compass Bancshares, the company was acquired in 2007 by the Spanish multinational financial group Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (BBVA) and was later rebranded as BBVA USA. It operated as a Sunbelt-based financial institution offering a wide range of commercial and retail banking, wealth management, and treasury management services. In June 2021, The PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. completed its acquisition of BBVA USA. All BBVA USA branches, products, and services were subsequently converted and rebranded under the PNC Bank name.
