Originally founded as the stockbroker Albertini & C. in Milan, the company became Banca Albertini Syz after the Swiss banking group SYZ took a 50% stake in 2002. In 2013, SYZ acquired the remaining 50%, taking full control. Following the acquisition, the entity was fully integrated into the group's structure and rebranded as Banca SYZ. Today, it operates as the Italian branch of the Swiss-based Syz Group, a family-owned company dedicated to providing high-end private banking and wealth management services to a private and institutional clientele.
