The company grew rapidly, offering a unified platform for in-store, online, and mobile payments. In 2017, Bambora was acquired by the Ingenico Group to expand its SME and e-commerce footprint. Subsequently, in 2020, Ingenico was acquired by Worldline, a European leader in payments and transactional services. Today, Bambora's technology and services are integrated into Worldline's comprehensive suite of merchant solutions.
