Bamboo's mission is to democratize access to global investment opportunities for Africans. The company provides a mobile and web application that allows users, primarily in Nigeria and Ghana, to invest in and trade thousands of U.S. stocks and Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) directly from their local currency. Bamboo partners with a U.S. registered and regulated broker-dealer to facilitate the trades and ensure the security of assets, which are protected by the SIPC.
