Baltic International Bank SE

Established in 1993, Baltic International Bank SE was one of Latvia’s most experienced banks specializing in private banking and wealth management for high-net-worth individuals and corporate clients. The bank focused on providing personalized financial solutions, investment services, and asset management, with a stated mission in its later years to align with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. However, following long-term breaches of anti-money laundering (AML) and capital requirement regulations, its license was withdrawn by the European Central Bank in March 2023, and the bank entered liquidation proceedings.
