BabylonChain

Babylon is a blockchain project focused on leveraging the security of the Bitcoin network. Its mission is to scale Bitcoin to secure the decentralized world. The protocol achieves this through three main pillars: Bitcoin Timestamping, which allows any data to be timestamped onto the Bitcoin network; Bitcoin Staking, which enables Bitcoin holders to stake their BTC to validate PoS chains and earn yields, thereby enhancing the security of those chains; and Bitcoin Data Availability, which ensures data for PoS chains is available and verifiable. Founded by a team from Stanford University, Babylon aims to build a more secure and interconnected blockchain ecosystem with Bitcoin as the foundational trust layer.
