AvSuper

Founded in 1990, AvSuper was the dedicated superannuation fund for the Australian aviation industry, open to anyone eligible for super. As a "profit-for-members" fund, its goal was to maximize retirement outcomes for its members rather than generate profits for shareholders. On 1 May 2023, AvSuper completed a merger with Australian Retirement Trust (ART), one of Australia's largest superannuation funds. This merger was intended to provide AvSuper members with benefits of scale, including lower administration fees and access to a wider range of investment options and services. The AvSuper brand is now part of the Australian Retirement Trust.
