Asto was a trading name for Asto Digital Limited, a subsidiary of the publicly listed UK company Fiinu PLC. Launched to support the self-employed and small business owners, Asto provided business finance and cash flow management tools through a mobile application. The company was authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) as an EMD agent. However, in early 2023, its parent company Fiinu announced it would wind down its banking subsidiary and close the Asto app to focus on its core 'Plugin Overdraft®' technology, leading to the cessation of Asto's operations.
