Associazione IBAN

Associazione Italiana Banche Estere (AIBE), the Italian Association of Foreign Banks, was established in Milan in 1993. It is a non-profit organization that represents, protects, and promotes the common interests of its members—foreign banks and international financial groups with operations in Italy. AIBE acts as the primary institutional representative for these entities in their dealings with Italian authorities, including the Bank of Italy, CONSOB (the Italian financial regulator), the Ministry of Economy and Finance, and other relevant public bodies. The association's mission is to foster dialogue, provide analysis on regulatory and market issues, and support the integration and development of foreign banks within the Italian financial system.
