Association of Professional Financial Advisers

The Association of Professional Financial Advisers (APFA) was the principal trade body for financial advisers in the United Kingdom. In June 2017, APFA merged with the Wealth Management Association (WMA) to form the Personal Investment Management & Financial Advice Association (PIMFA). PIMFA's mission is to create an optimal operating environment for its member firms to deliver their services and to champion a culture of financial wellbeing by promoting the importance of savings, investment, and financial advice. It represents the interests of the industry to the government, regulators, and other policymakers.
