Arca Capital is a Central European private equity firm founded in Slovakia in 1997 and later expanding significantly into the Czech Republic and other CEE regions. The group's primary focus is on managing and growing a diversified portfolio of investments in sectors such as real estate, energy, retail, and services. It traditionally sourced capital from private and institutional investors, often through the issuance of bonds and promissory notes. Since 2020, the group has faced significant financial difficulties, leading its main holding company, Arca Investments, to enter one of the largest insolvency and reorganization proceedings in the history of the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
