Anchor Banc

Anchor Banc, operating through its subsidiary Anchor Bank, was a community-focused bank headquartered in Lacey, Washington. Originally founded in 1907, it served individuals and businesses across several counties in Western Washington, offering a full suite of traditional banking services, including checking and savings accounts, commercial and consumer loans, and residential mortgages. The bank emphasized building strong, local customer relationships. In November 2017, Anchor Bancorp announced its acquisition by Washington Federal, Inc. (the parent company of WaFd Bank), a deal that was completed in 2018. All Anchor Bank operations and branches were subsequently merged and rebranded under the WaFd Bank name.
