Analyze Re

Founded in 2013 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Analyze Re developed a high-performance computing platform to deliver advanced analytics for the reinsurance industry. Its primary mission was to help reinsurers and insurers better price and manage complex catastrophe risk portfolios in real-time. The company's software enabled users to model and price reinsurance contracts with greater speed and accuracy. In 2016, Analyze Re was acquired by Verisk Analytics (Nasdaq:VRSK) and its technology and team were integrated into Verisk's catastrophe modeling business, AIR Worldwide (now known as Verisk Extreme Event Solutions), to enhance its risk management offerings.
