Founded in 1988, AmeriHome Mortgage Company, LLC is a major U.S. residential mortgage producer and servicer. The company operates through three main channels: Correspondent, Consumer Direct, and Portfolio Retention. While it primarily functions as a business-to-business lender, purchasing and servicing loans from a network of smaller lenders (correspondent), it also originates loans directly to consumers. In April 2021, AmeriHome was acquired by and became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Western Alliance Bancorporation (NYSE: WAL), operating under its brand.
